Summer 2020

Since the Summer began, I've traveled around my stomping ground of Central New Jersey, experimenting with dusk and nighttime photography. I've been especially interested in capturing body's of water in long exposures; many of the shots in this post utilized my tripod and prime lenses. Let's check them out!

New Market Pond

The lights at the New Market Pond cycle between different colors - hence the colorful effect.

Ocean Breeze Pier
Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk
Hillside Cemetery

This is actually a combination of two different images, stitched together in Photoshop. Hopefully I'll have more chances to practice astrophotography in the future.

Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal

On September 11th, I took a trip out to Liberty State Park to shoot the Tribute in Light across the river. While waiting for the evening to settle in, I fell in love with the contrast in front of the old Railroad Terminal; I had to capture the moment.

Here's looking forward to shooting some Autumn foliage!
